    Hi,
We were very disappointed on Sunday, March 4th when my wife and I came to see your gallery which we heard so much about how wonderful it is. I did check your website and it indicated the gallery was open on Sunday from 2-5 PM. When we entered the library, we asked where it was and directed upstairs to find it locked and closed. No one knew anything.
Being seniors, getting the wrong information on the website, and then being directed to climb the stairs to a closed exhibition made the whole experience less than enjoyable. Please keep website up to date to avoid situations like this.
    Thank you,
    R.G.

I am so sorry about the experience you had. March 4, it was our annual gala and the last day of the Richard Haas Exhibition. Sunday we were closed as we had an event the night before, and the show was officially closed. It states on our gallery calendar, on the top tab on our website, that the gallery is closed on Sunday March 5th-March 15th, as we prepare for the next exhibition. The hours on the main page and on google are the general hours of operation when a show is up. The students in the library or on campus are not associated with the gallery, and the college is closed as it is “winter break.” The gallery is a separate entity from the college overall. I truly do apologize for what happened. We would love to have you come to our next exhibition opening on March 16th at 7pm called History of the Present. The gallery will be back to normal hours with exceptions that will be noted on the calendars. We try to update the website as often as possible, but always feel free to call for any updates, questions or would like to visit. We would love to have you come visit us during our hours of operation and would like to provide you with a better experience. Please let me know if there is anything more I can do.
      Sincerely,
      Claudia Kissel
