Luncheon lecture with Sabrina Marsalisi of The Brant Foundation on February 13 at 11:00 AM.
Sabrina Marsalisi, the Director of Education at The Brant Foundation, will be speaking in OSilas Gallery on February 13th about The Brant Foundation’s new hit show, Third Dimension: Works from The Brant Foundation, as well as about the Brant’s formidable collection of contemporary art.
Third Dimension is the second exhibition at The Brant Foundation’s New York space, featuring over 20 artists integral to its collection. The selected sculptures, installations, and other works oscillating between painting and object represent the multifaceted practices of the artists on view, offering visitors the opportunity to encounter artists who have been collected in depth by Brant Foundation founder Peter M. Brant over the past 50 years.
“Third Dimension” provides a dialogue between styles, concepts and the decades that gives patrons something to think about without the carnival atmosphere that is sometimes unavoidable in a smash hit show.–The Villager
